Facilitating Access to Health Insurance in Nigeria
The CSAAE Health Insurance Access Program helps individuals, families and communities access available health insurance products in Nigeria and ensures that they take full advantage of the benefits that the health insurance offers.
One of the health insurance programmes that we facilitate access to is: GIFSHIP – Group, Individual and Family Social Health Insurance Programme – provided by the National Health Insurance Authority.
This program is available to all Nigerian and non-Nigerian citizens resident in Nigeria. It is also available to Nigerian citizens abroad to enable them access healthcare services whenever they visit home.
GIFSHIP covers individuals, individual members of a family, individual members of an organization and individual members of a community.
GIFSHIP is a Federal Government programme. It is working. But, as with government programmes, accessing it can be challenging for some people.
