CSAAE’S ACCESS TO HEALTH  INSURANCE  PROJECT TRANSFORMS LIVES AT MARKS  THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC  CHURCH, OWERRI, TOUCHING THE HEARTS AND HEALTHS  OF  OVER 420 INDIVIDUALS

On Sunday, February 11th, 2024, the Center for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) orchestrated a transformative event at St. Mark the Apostle Catholic Church in Orji, Owerri, Imo State. This vibrant congregation, composed of over 420 individuals, experienced an enlightening session on the intricacies of both the national and Imo State health insurance schemes.

CSAAE’s commitment to community welfare took center stage as it unfolded an Access to Health Insurance initiative. The gathering served as a platform for empowering congregants with essential knowledge about the health insurance landscape. This initiative aimed to demystify the workings of the schemes, ensuring that the local community was well-informed about their health coverage options.

Furthermore, the event didn’t merely stop at education; it extended a caring hand through health check-ups. A remarkable 58 individuals underwent blood sugar and blood pressure tests, fostering a proactive approach to personal well-being.

CSAAE’s mission to create a healthier, informed society was evident in the engaged discussions and tangible health interventions. The congregation left not just with newfound awareness but with a sense of empowerment, equipped to navigate the intricacies of healthcare for a brighter and healthier future.
