This is a small network of attorneys passionate about good governance, rule of law, anticorruption, and human rights in the Southeast.
C-Advocates offer both pro bono and paid services in the Southeast at the request of CSAAE.
C-Advocates is a closed network accessible to a lawyer only by invitation.
Currently, C-Advocates is made up of select lawyers from each state in the southeast.
Any matter of interest to CSAAE will be routed to C-Advocates. If there is funding for the matter, CSAAE will pay an advocate to take up the matter. If there is no funding, CSAAE will appeal to advocates to take up the matter pro bono.
CSAAE occasionally gets grants to implement projects that may require legal services. CSAAE will engage C-Advocates for the needed services.

The Centre carries out its operations from its head office in Nigeria, with technical support from its U.S. office
