CSAAE believes that the poultry industry can help many farmers and communities out of extreme poverty. We also strongly believe in the nutritional benefits of poultry meat and eggs, as a good source of protein to families.

Poultry Value Chain Project for Mompreneurs in South East, Nigeria

The pilot phase of the project was launched in 2022, in Ebonyi state, where several women were trained on modern poultry farming, and winners of the enterprise pitch were supported with inputs (DOC, vaccines, drugs, feed, etc) to start out their poultry farms. In 2023, CSAAE plans to expand this intervention across the South East region to support more women with legimate sources of income through poultry farmers.
