In a stride towards fostering sustainable agricultural practices in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region, CSAAE in partnership with PIND Foundation orchestrated a landmark initiative. Their collaborative effort manifested in a Poultry Climate Smart Training, held in the vibrant city of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. This training targeted poultry service providers hailing from the five states constituting the Niger Delta.

The event was more than just a gathering; it was a pivotal moment for attendees to delve into the intricacies of climate-smart poultry farming. Encouraged to act as agents of change, participants were urged to disseminate the knowledge acquired during the training to local farmers in their respective communities. This cascading effect promised to revolutionize poultry farming practices across the region.

One of the highlights of the event was the facilitation of case studies and simulation games. These interactive sessions provided participants with practical insights into real-world scenarios, equipping them with the necessary tools to navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities in the field of climate-smart agriculture.

As participants immersed themselves in the training, a sense of empowerment and enthusiasm permeated the atmosphere. Their commitment to driving positive change in their communities was palpable, igniting a collective determination to embrace sustainable agricultural practices.
