ELEVATING AGRICULTURE: CSAAE PIONEER CLIMATE SMART POULTRY PRACTICES  TRAINING IN AKWA IBOM

In the verdant landscapes of Akwa Ibom, where the poultry industry thrives,  CSAAE, renowned for its commitment to empowering African youths and communities, organized a revolutionary training session focused on climate-smart poultry practices. Anchored by CSAAE’s esteemed Poultry Service Provider, Tangban Obi, this event heralded a new era of sustainable farming in the region.

The training, meticulously crafted by experts in poultry farming and climate adaptation, offered invaluable insights into navigating the challenges posed by a changing climate. Participants were immersed in a dynamic learning environment, where they gained practical knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing innovative solutions on their farms.

As climate change continues to exert its influence on agricultural landscapes worldwide, the need for adaptation and resilience has never been more pressing. Recognizing this urgency, CSAAE and Tangban Obi spared no effort in equipping Akwa Ibom’s poultry farmers with the tools and strategies necessary to thrive in the face of adversity.

The training covered a wide array of topics, including optimized feed management, climate-resilient infrastructure design, and disease prevention measures tailored to the region’s unique environmental conditions.

Through interactive workshops and engaging discussions, participants emerged not only with enhanced technical skills but also with a renewed sense of purpose and determination to build a more sustainable future for their farms and communities.

Armed with newfound knowledge and inspired by the collective efforts of CSAAE and Tangban Obi, participants are already on their journey towards a brighter, more resilient future for poultry farming in the region.
