Sexual Harassment in Higher Institutions

In a world full of ethical challenges, where people find it hard to decipher right and wrong. CSAAE, in line with its belief in shining light on issues of concern, organized “ETHICS COMPASS”  a  monthly live program that guides people toward making the right ethical choices in their daily lives.

The recent ethics compass titled “SEXUAL HARRASMENT IN HIGHER INSTITUTIONS”, brought experts and stakeholders who discussed the urgent need to address sexual harassment in higher institutions, raised awareness on the issue, shared best practices for prevention and channels for seeking redress when such incidents occur.

At the end of the 1hour 15mins program, the prevalent nature and causes of sexual harassment in higher institutions were X-rayed, the challenges victims face while reporting their experiences of sexual harassment were addressed and highlights were given on policies that pertain to the relationship between staff, contractors, consultants, students and visitors of the university.
