One of the key takeaways from the session was the acknowledgment that while media professionals receive ethics training in school, some veer off course once in the field. This divergence often stems from external pressures, such as financial enticements, which can compromise journalistic standards. Moreover, panelists shed light on the dearth of proper training, especially among those who did not formally study the profession, emphasizing the urgent need for continuous education and skill development.
