CSAAE paid an advocacy visit to the Imo State Health Insurance Agency

The Center for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE), represented by its health insurance officer, Mr. Raynal Iheanachor, paid an advocacy visit to the Imo State Health Insurance Agency (IMSHIA).

The visit to IMSHIA was aimed at, establishing a smooth communication channel between the two organizations, getting comprehensive knowledge of services offered, and their models of operation as well as a list of their approved hospitals as this information will help in designing strategies that will ensure more Imolites register into the Imo state health insurance Scheme.

The Executive secretary, Dr. Uchenna Ewelike, and the head of standard and quality assurance of IMSHIA, Dr Patrick Iwuchukwu, welcomed the visit with so much excitement and reiterated that IMSHIA has over 600,000 Imolites already registered into its scheme and they are ready to collaborate with CSAAE in increasing the number of Imolites benefiting from IMSHIA.
