The Center for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics(CSAAE), in collaboration with Partnership Initiative in the Niger Delta (PIND), organized a Climate Smart Agriculture Capacity building training workshop for Poultry Service Providers (PSPs) in the Niger Delta region.
The training, which lasted for (2) days in Port Harcourt from the 6th to the 8th of September, 2023.
Equipped Poultry Service Providers (PSPs) with additional skills and information on climate-smart good poultry practices and marketing strategies as well as linkages to markets and the financial training required to enable them to provide the needed services to commercial poultry farmers in the region .
A major highlight of the training was the unveiling of the newly published manual on ” Climate Smart Poultry Practice “.
The training had in attendance selected Poultry Service Providers (PSPs) from the 9 Niger Delta region which includes: Ondo, Edo, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Abia, Imo, and Delta.
