REVOLUTIONIZING HEALTH INSURANCE ACCESS IN IMO STATE: CSAAE ENGAGES MANAGEMENT OF H. H. ASSUMPTA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

In a state where access to health insurance remains a pressing concern, a beacon of hope shines through as CSAAE (Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics) takes a proactive step towards ensuring every Imolite signs up for health insurance. Amidst disturbing reports highlighting the low coverage of health insurance among residents, CSAAE has embarked on a mission to bridge this gap with an enlightenment visit to Handmades Holy Child Assumpta International Nursery and Primary School.

Recognizing the pivotal role education institutions play in community development, CSAAE recently engaged with the management of Handmades Holychild Assumpta International School to advocate for enrollment in either the Imo State Health Insurance or the national Health Insurance Scheme.

This initiative aims to not only safeguard the health and well-being of the school community but also set a precedent for healthcare inclusivity across the state.

By partnering with schools like Handmades Holy Child Assumpta International, CSAAE underscores the importance of collective action in addressing systemic healthcare challenges. Through education and advocacy, CSAAE endeavors to empower communities to take charge of their health and advocate for equitable access to health insurance services.

As the sun sets on health insurance disparities in Imo State, CSAAE’s collaboration with Handmades Holy Child Assumpta International School illuminates a path towards a healthier, more resilient future for all Imolites.
