CSAAE’S EYE-OPENING VISIT EXPOSES SHOCKING TOILET CONDITIONS AT UMUOLU EZIMBA AND UMUEBII PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN OWERRI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF IMO STATE

WATCH THE REPORT HERE

In its relentless pursuit of qualitative primary education in South East Nigeria, CSAAE embarked on an assessment visit to Umuolu Ezimba Community Central School Emii and Umuebii Eziala Primary School Emii, both nestled in the heart of Owerri North Local Government Area, Imo State. The mission? To gauge the state of toilet facilities in these educational institutions.

This initiative was prompted by the disheartening findings of the Local Government Good Governance Monitors report, revealing that no primary school in the South East met the universal education standard, with none scoring above 50%. Shockingly, every school surveyed lacked basic toilet facilities. Last year, CSAAE released this report, serving as a clarion call for urgent intervention in the region’s education sector.

A follow-up visit to Umuolu Ezimba and Umuebii Eziala primary schools unfolded a distressing narrative, underscoring the grim reality of the current state of toilet facilities. The very essence of a conducive learning environment is compromised when basic amenities are lacking.

To witness the firsthand account of these findings and join CSAAE in its mission to uplift educational standards, watch the full report by clicking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1keOz0eWP4

Together, let’s bridge the education gap and pave the way for a brighter future in South East Nigeria.
