Empowering young people with skills that create real change

Recently, our CSAAE Technical & Vocational Education Training(CTVET) team visited the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) as part of the institution’s SIWES orientation program. The session focused on an important message for today’s emerging professionals: the need to balance theoretical knowledge with practical, technical skills

During the engagement, our team highlighted how combining academic learning with hands‑on expertise increases employability, improves problem‑solving abilities, and prepares students for real‑world challenges. The students showed remarkable enthusiasm, actively engaging in discussions and seeking guidance on how to position themselves for future opportunities.

The visit also provided a great opportunity for us to introduce our wide range of technical and digital skills training programs, designed to equip young people with the competencies needed in today’s evolving job market. From digital literacy to specialized technical courses, our programs are structured to help students build career‑ready skills that complement their classroom knowledge.

We are excited about the interest displayed by the FUTO students and look forward to supporting many of them on their journey to becoming skilled, innovative, and industry-ready professionals.
