CSAAE Partners With Hon Sir Tochukwu Okere, Member Representing Owerri Federal Constituency in Empowering Youths in His Constituency on Free Digital Skills Training
In a bold step towards youth empowerment and digital inclusion, the Center for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) has partnered with Hon. Sir Tochukwu Okere, Member Representing Owerri Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, to provide free digital skills training to youths in his constituency.
The initiative officially kicked off today with a flag-off training session aimed at equipping the first cohort of participants with essential digital skills. These trainees, upon completing the program, will be fully equipped to serve as Digital Skills Champions.
Their mission? To spread the knowledge by training other youths across the 33 wards that make up the Owerri Federal Constituency, creating a ripple effect of digital empowerment throughout the region.
This partnership underscores Hon. Sir Tochukwu Okere’s commitment to uplifting his constituency by preparing its youth for the future of work. By learning cutting-edge digital skills, these young people will have access to new job opportunities, both locally and globally, while helping to bridge the digital divide in their communities.
