CSAAE Participates in Imo State Health Partners Coordination Forum: A Unified Push for Grassroots Healthcare
On April 10, 2025, C-HEALTH was pleased to join key health stakeholders at the Imo State Health Partners Coordination Forum held at Gloran Hotel, Owerri. The forum brought together a strong coalition of partners committed to transforming the healthcare landscape in Imo State through better coordination, collaboration, and strategic planning.
United for Better Healthcare
The event saw participation from a wide range of stakeholders, including:
- Medical Directors from the Federal Medical Centre and State Specialist Hospital
- WHO and UNICEF representatives
- Officials from the Imo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ISPHCDA)
- Program officers and directors from the Ministry of Health
- The Commissioner for Health and fellow government commissioners
- C-HEALTH team members
- Other NGOs and development partners working in health promotion and prevention
Together, these groups shared insights and ideas on how to make healthcare more affordable, accessible, and effective for all residents of Imo State.
Focus on Community-Level Impact
A recurring theme throughout the forum was the importance of reaching the grassroots. Participants emphasized that healthcare services must not only be available but also accessible to those in remote and underserved communities.
