The Center for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) recently marked a major milestone—its 10th anniversary—during a grand celebration held at the Full Moon Hotel in Owerri, Imo State. The event, which took place on December 14, 2024, was a fitting tribute to a decade of progress and achievements in advancing social advocacy, ethical practices, and community empowerment.


The event’s highlights included the presentation of the CSAAE Impact Report by the Executive Director and Founder, Rev. Fr. Dr. Godswill Agbagwa. In his speech, Fr. Agbagwa shared the organization’s significant strides over the last decade, focusing on its advocacy work, ethical initiatives, and efforts to raise awareness on critical social issues. He also unveiled the organization’s strategic roadmap for the future, outlining key priorities for advancing social justice, environmental education, and ethical leadership.

One of the most anticipated moments was the awarding of prizes to the winners of the CSAAE National Undergraduate Ethics Quiz 2024. The quiz saw spirited competition from students across Nigeria, with the top three winners receiving awards and cash prizes totaling over 1 million Naira. The winners were:
1st Position: University of Jos (UNIJOS)
2nd position: Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO)
3rd position: University of Abuja (UNIABUJA)
In recognition of the contributions of key individuals, awards were presented to several outstanding partners and loyal staff members who have played vital roles in advancing the mission of CSAAE. The occasion culminated in a ceremonial cake-cutting, marking both the achievements of the past and the promise of a bright future.
The event was attended by a diverse group of dignitaries, including clergy, civil society representatives, government officials, and members of the press. Several goodwill messages were shared, underscoring the widespread respect and support for CSAAE’s work.

This celebration in Owerri -Imo state marked the grand finale of a three-week anniversary series, following earlier events in Maryland, USA, on November 23, and Lagos, Nigeria, on December 7. These events showcased the organization’s international reach and the global recognition of its work.
As CSAAE looks to the future, the organization is committed to forging new partnerships and continuing its mission of creating a more socially conscious and ethically responsible society. With a strong foundation built over the past decade, the organization is poised for even greater impact in the years to come.
