CSAAE and Pind Foundation Empowers Village Level Agro Poultry Dealers with Essential Skills for Sustainable Poultry Farming
CSAAE participated in a transformative Two-Day Poultry Sector Training and Linkage Workshop*organized by PIND Foundation in collaboration with Farm Support Limited. Held at PIND Foundation’s head office in Warri, Delta State, the workshop aimed to empower Village Level Dealers (VLDs) who are Veterinary Doctors and Paravets licensed to operate pet stores and clinics with crucial technical and business skills to enhance their services to poultry farmers across the Niger Delta region.
The intensive training provided VLDs with the tools they need to commercially deliver vaccine services to poultry farmers, ensuring healthier and more productive farms. Participants also gained deeper insights into climate change adaptation strategies and innovative marketing techniques, vital for sustaining operations in a rapidly evolving agricultural landscape.
This workshop was not just about upskilling; it focused on strengthening networks among VLDs, creating an ecosystem that fosters collaboration and shared growth across the poultry sector. As a co-facilitator, CSAAE demonstrated its commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural practices that support entrepreneurship and long-term development.
By equipping VLDs with these essential skills, CSAAE and PIND Foundation are driving the poultry sector towards resilience and sustainability, paving the way for a more prosperous future for poultry farmers in the Niger Delta.
CSAAE remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that encourage economic empowerment, improved agricultural practices, and sustainable livelihoods in rural communities.
