C-ENTERPRISE

C-Enterprise is dedicated to reducing poverty by fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship among young people. The aim is to support men, women and youth to initiate and grow enterprises that can generate income, create jobs, reduce unemployment and poverty.

Strategy

Through incubator, accelerator and venture studio programs, C-Enterprise nurtures
nano, micro, small and medium sized enterprises. These programs focus on:

Ideation

Potential entrepreneurs are exposed to possible entrepreneurship opportunities.

Business Plan Writing

Emerging entrepreneurs are taught how to convert their ideas into a business plan.

Technical Training

Entrepreneurs are linked to training opportunities to strengthen their skills.

Business Management Training

Entrepreneurs are trained soft skills such as marketing, bookkeeping, customer service, etc.

Mentorship

Entrepreneurs receive guidance from experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders.

Resources

Entrepreneurs may gain access to workspaces, marketing technology, and logistical and technical resources. 

Funding

Entrepreneurs may receive funding to start their businesses

C-Enterprise Initiatives

NEAL Enterprise Development Initiative

NEAL (Network of Effective African Leaders) is a mentorship initiative that prepares young people for effective leadership in Africa.

C-Enterprise organizes ideation, incubation and linkage events for NEAL aspiring business leaders; provides access to seed and scale-up funds; facilitates business registration and mainstreaming; facilitates a robust platform for networking, knowledge sharing and collaboration, while monitoring progress.

NEAL Enterprise Development initiative has supported over 20 thriving businesses and social enterprises.

Young Mompreneurs Initiative (YOMI)

The aim of YOMI is to reduce poverty among socioeconomically disadvantaged young women – especially breadwinner moms in underserved communities – by empowering them with the skills and resources needed to launch and grow enterprises in areas of market demand.

YOMI fosters an entrepreneurial spirit among these young women; trains eligible women in technical and business management skills; mainstreams their businesses from the informal to the formal sector; links them to funding, clients, customers, suppliers and service providers and provides a robust platform for networking, knowledge sharing and partnership.

YOMI is a women-led initiative currently operative in Southeast, Nigeria. ACCESS Bank Plc. provided the take-off funding for YOMI in 2018. Learn more about YOMI

Poultry Value Chain Project (PVCP)

The aim of this project is to alleviate poverty and create additional jobs while improving food security by empowering poultry farmers with technical and business skills, linking them to quality inputs, finance, and markets.

PVCP has supported over 24, 269 farmers in the Niger Delta Region. PVCP is funded by the Partnership Initiative for the Niger Delta (PIND).
