Women Economic Empowerment
All over the world but especially in Africa, women have been marginalized and excluded from economic growth. They have little to no access to resources critical to economic growth. Little wonder, women, rank highest in the global poverty index. Although several studies show that Nigeria has more women entrepreneurs (womenpreneurs) than any other country in the world, Nigeria’s most recent poverty index shows that rural womenpreneurs are the worst hit by poverty in Nigeria.
