2024 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS ANCHORS AND RULE OF LAW CHAMPIONS

Together We Can Make Our Society a Better Place

In recognition of the importance of promoting human rights and empowering youth to advocate for their protection and the respect for the rule of law, the Center for Social Awareness, Advocacy, and Ethics (CSAAE) seeks to amplify the voices of young people who yearn for a more inclusive Nigeria where human rights and the rule of law are respected and upheld.

On this note, CSAAE is pleased to welcome applications for Human Rights Anchors and Rule of Law Champions. These individuals will lead initiatives to promote positive change, raise awareness, and work towards ensuring the protection and promotion of human rights and respect for the rule of law in Nigeria.

We invite vibrant young individuals who are passionate about human rights, respect for the rule of law, and civic engagement to apply to become Human Rights Anchors and Rule of Law Champions. These champions will collaborate with CSAAE, our local and international partners, and relevant government agencies to track cases of human rights abuses and violations of the law in Nigeria, strengthen the protection of human rights, raise awareness, and promote a culture of respect for human rights.

  • They will benefit from capacity-building series and training on human rights and rule of law monitoring and reporting.
  • When there is a funded project, active members of the network will be paid to work on the project.
  • By monitoring and documenting human rights violations and abuses of the law, these champions will hold perpetrators accountable. Their efforts contribute to a more transparent and just society, promoting the rule of law and ensuring that human rights violations are addressed.
  • Through their advocacy campaigns, Human Rights Anchors and Rule of Law Champions will advocate for policy changes that promote and protect human rights and respect for the rule of law.
