CSAAE Participates in NJFP Owerri Engagement, Advancing Youth Employment and SDG 8 in Nigeria

CSAAE recently participated in the Nigerian Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) Employer & Fellows Engagement Session in Owerri, joining leading host organisations and young professionals in a collaborative effort to strengthen youth employment, workforce development, and job readiness in Nigeria

As a proud NJFP Host Organisation, CSAAE continues to create real opportunities for young Nigerians by providing hands-on work experience, mentorship, and career development pathways that prepare fellows for the evolving job market.

This commitment is further driven through CJobs & Internships, the CSAAE Job Placement Hub, a growing platform dedicated to connecting job seekers in Nigeria with internships, entry-level jobs, and career growth opportunities. At the same time, the hub supports organisations with access to skilled, work-ready talent, making it a key player in the job placement ecosystem in South-East Nigeria

The Owerri engagement session highlighted the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in reducing unemployment in Nigeria. It reinforced the need for practical, scalable solutions that bridge the gap between talent and opportunity

Through these efforts, CSAAE is actively contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8): Decent Work and Economic Growth—by promoting productive employment, supporting workforce inclusion, and strengthening Nigeria’s economy from the grassroots.

Every fellow hosted, every internship secured, and every job opportunity created contributes to a more inclusive labour market and sustainable economic growth in Nigeria

CSAAE is not just participating in conversations around employment, we are building systems that work.

Through innovation, partnerships, and impact-driven programmes, CSAAE is shaping the future of work in South-East Nigeria; one opportunity at a time.
