Nwachukwu Victor is an accomplished journalist and French language expert with several years of experience in news correspondence, freelance journalism, multilingual translation, communication and innovative media strategies.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in foreign Languages (French and German) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with professional trainings and certifications from the International Centre for Investigative Reporting, the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism and the Ikenga Media / Cultural Awareness Initiative.
He is fluent in speaking, reading and writing French/German. He has worked as a correspondent/reporter for the News Agency of Nigeria, freelance journalist with the BBC pidgin language service, communication consultant with the United Nations Children’s Fund, part-time French translator for a Federal High Court and Bilingual Communications Officer for Masters Energy Group. This fluency gives him an edge as it aids his journalistic multilingualism.
At CSAAE, he plays a key role in the advocacy for the defense of human rights, the rule of law, anti-corruption and good governance through the writing, proofreading and editing of articles covering these thematic areas and others. His strong passion, dedication and professional experience underscore his determination to pursue positive societal change through the promotion of citizens journalism and advocacy.
