Personnel Swap: Growth Induced Necessity

In the quest to improve the quality of her services, standardize her operations and broaden the scope of her impact, our organization, the Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy and Ethics, yearly conducts a staffing evaluation and training to identify and address capacity sufficiency or deficiency.

This year, our founder, Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Godswill Agbagwa identified the need for some full time staff at the Nigerian office, given the rapid expansion of the Centre’s tentacles; and made a move to fill the personnel yawn. The areas identified are the positions for Career Building and Entrepreneurship Program (CBEP)manager, and administrative assistant.

After vacancy declaration and series of interviews and reviews, the office of the administrative assistant was filled by Mrs. Anasthesia Nwankwo. Mrs. Nwankwo had worked with Zenith Bank, Rhas Nigeria Ltd and ABC transport before joining CSAAE. She trained as a project manager at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri and aims to deploy drills from her former employment into CSAAE operations and contribute her quota towards a better Africa.

Mrs Orosanye, who took up the position of CBEP manager, has been into youth mentorship and philanthropy with REDD Empowerment Foundation. Though, she studied medical Laboratory Science, her passion for human development drove her into Civil Society Organisations. Mrs Orosanye believes working with CSAAE will afford her the opportunity to affect more youths.

Nonetheless, Mrs Chikere, who joined the Centre in 2017, as program manager, with this diversification, would focus more on program promotion and funding. It is our expectation that as efforts are focused and concentrated, impact will be more effective and all-reaching.

We are pleased to welcome you to the Centre and wishing you the best of strength to deliver on your promises as we all commit to a better Africa.
