The International Youth Leadership, Career Building and Entrepreneurship Summit (IYLCBES) is a vital component of the Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy and Ethics’ (CSAAE) youth education and empowerment curriculum. CSAAE is an international youth-based organization, with a vision of addressing poverty and underdevelopment in Africa, which it believes are championed by the lack of ethical leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. It is therefore on a mission to equip youths with ethical values to navigate Africa out of its plaguing defects and bankrupt morals. Annually, CSAAE hosts youths across Nigeria, in various institutions of learning, in knowledge sharing and transfer sessions, on issues bothering on enhancing the state of the nation; gathering renowned and ethical leaders of established moral compass, to prepare youthful minds for impactful leadership.

From various sectors, as would address her core areas of concerns: Ethics, Entrepreneurship and Effective leadership; the following were selected: Hon. Bonaventure Emenali, Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, Anambra State, Nigeria; Prof. Sam Okeke, Department of Law, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; Prof. Yu Zhangbao, Director of Confucius Institute, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; Prof. Stella Okunna, Department of Mass Media, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; alongside the Centre’s Career Building and Entrepreneurship Program (CBEP) trainers, Dr. Farouk Kurawa, Funding and Investment Opportunities expert; Mr. James Elekwachi, Entrepreneurship Opportunities expert; Dr. Alex Ugwuezonu, Career Choice and Job Placement expert and, Mr. Blessing Mene, Grant Writing expert.

Over the years, IYLCBES has changed in style and methodology, though with a retained focus: to empower, facilitate and catalyze youth engagement in community development, ethical leadership, and entrepreneurship. In 2014, the Federal University of Technology Owerri, hosted the maiden edition as Campus Opportunity Fair.  The Centre since then, has impacted several other higher institutions ranging from University of Benin, Edo State; School of Dental Technology, Enugu State; Federal College of Education, Obudu, Cross River State; University of Jos, Plateau State; University of Ilorin, Kwara State, and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, hosting the forthcoming in July, 12-13, 2019.
