PIND-CSAAE’s Poultry Value Chain Project is designed to facilitate interventions that aim to strengthen the poultry sector in the Niger Delta, allowing it to work for all, including the poor people. The Nigerian poultry industry is one of the most important and viable subsectors in the Nigerian agricultural sector. It provides means of livelihood for millions of poor Nigerians and a source of high-value investments for profit-driven entrepreneurs.

CSAAE Enterprise Development Services (C-Enterprise) is a component of our Career Building and Entrepreneurship Program (CBEP). It is dedicated to helping young people grow profitable enterprises to sustain themselves and create opportunities for others to sustain themselves.

Young Imo Mompreneurs Initiative (YIMI) Boot Camp

YIMI is the Imo State chapter of CSAAE’s Young Mompreneurs Initiative (YOMI). YOMI designs and implements innovative enterprise development interventions that allow young “bread-winner-moms” in rural areas initiate and grow business enterprises to sustain their families while creating opportunities that help others sustain themselves

Among other things, YIMI helps participants identify local entrepreneurship opportunities, evaluates the viability of existing businesses, provides business management trainings, prepares them for funding, links them to businessess, advises on investment opportunities, monitors their progress and provides technical support to ensure that success is achieved.

CSAAE- CAFO Business and Entrepreneurship Summit

Partnering with Catholic Family Outreach International (CAFO), CSAAE organized a one-day Business and Entrepreneurship Summit at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Parish Owerri, near mechanic village, Owerri-Aba road on June 30, 2018. The summit had over 300 participants in attendance. CSAAE Enterprise Development Service Providers were on ground to deliver trainings on Business and Entrepreneurship Opportunities by Mr. James Elekwachi; Funding and Investment Opportunities for Start-ups in Nigeria by Dr. Farouk Kurawa and Decent Work Opportunities and Landing your dream job by Mr. Alex Ugwuezuonu.

Beyond the foundation training, CSAAE Career and Business Development Service Providers provided extended mentoring services to interested participants to help initiate enterprises in areas of market demand

There were trainings in business development, funding and project cycle, financial management and job placement opportunities.CSAAE Enterprise Development Service Providers provided mentoring and consulting services while Vicez Global Charities provided initial funding for approved plans. Summit and mentoring was free.
