2020 EALFC: “WE ARE GOING FOR AN INTENSIVE, BOOTCAMP STYLE CONFERENCE” SAYS FOUNDER

The first step in every solution strategy is problem identification. With the vision to address underdevelopment and poverty in Africa, hence mandating every emerging leader to work on a community development project, yearly, CSAAE hosts a centerwide conference termed Emerging African Leaders Foundation Conference (EALFC) to establish the state of the nation, eliciting the challenges of the African clime, to ignite, reignite and equip emerging leaders for social change.

The Foundation Conference as it is popularly known is a centerwide gathering both in retrospective and introspective perusal of the African space to evaluate Africa’s progress in her emergence out of poverty and underdevelopment; key players in development, and the roles each of us play in our different sectorial responsibilities for economic transformation. Key socio-politico-economic issues are discussed to gag these change makers with facts for operation and passion for change.

With planning and preparation ongoing since July, the 7th Emerging African Leaders Foundation Conference is scheduled to hold from 10th-12 January, 2020, at Immaculate Golden Hotels, Owerri Imo State, Nigeria. Some confirmed speakers are the Director of Open Society Initiative for West Africa, Mr Jude Ilo, Access Bank Corporate Social Responsibility Director, Mr Victor Omobenle, Prof Ihejirika of Signis.

Come 2020, the Foundation Conference returns home to Owerri town, Imo State Capital where the maiden edition took place. The Centre returns to a closed door conference in an intensive, bootcamp style making participation exclusive for Emerging Leaders. Good news is that the public can follow via our social media handles.
