These team includes my friends: Joshua Johaida- presently a 400l student of Nursing Sciences, Joseph Maichibi- presently a 400l student of biochemistry and Miss Hadiza Lawal- A student and pediatrician in Nursing department, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Reducing or eradicating malnutrition and disease outbreak in children and helping children attain a healthy status through their diets.

About Me:

I am Umar Omowumi Maryam, I hail from New Bussa, Borgu Local Government, Niger State. I’m presently a 400l student of Biochemistry from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Am a proud member of CSAAEINC, an Emerging Nigerian Leader.

CSAAEINC has so far been a great inspiration to my life which materialize into becoming a reality. CSAAE has served as a platform geared towards seeing what I have always dreamt of – a Nigeria void of social injustice, inequality, and marginalization.

My desire is to bring every child across Nigeria and Africa into having a healthy and good lifestyle. This desire is inspired in line with my CDP (Community Development Project) which is to tackle malnutrition in children.

Work Done:

We have been able to locate a community for this project, which has been well approved by the authority of the Primary Health Care in the community, for us to go ahead with the project with their support.

Next Step:

Organize a sensitization forum to create awareness on the basic tips and strategies of improving a child’s diet to avoid malnutrition. This awareness programme would be tagged ‘good diet, healthy living’. Also, after this step, God’s willing, we would go ahead to introduce vitamins and healthy food supplements that can improve a child’s diet to prevent or eradicate this menace of malnutrition.
