2019 ANNUAL CSAAE STAFF TRAINING

Human resources is an important asset of any organization. On Friday, 14th of January, 2019, was the case of human resources development, not tapping.  Yearly, the Centre for Social Awareness Advocacy and Ethics Inc. (CSAAE), equips her staff, for the year’s functions through training. The 2019 edition was focused on Project and Project Cycle Management’; a training offered by Mr. Chukwuemeka Onyebuchi, a project manager at the Angley Ventures and Projects.

The training began with a remark by the Founder and President of CSAAE, Rev. Fr. Dr. Godswill U. Agbagwa. He welcomed everyone and enjoined all present to actively participate so as to learn more innovative ways to move the organization forward.

Mr. Onyebuchi, began, explaining the components of the topic and how to execute a successful project. He went further to explain the need for a project to be SMART- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-bound. “A plan which is not time-bound is not achievable”, he said. “To evaluate a project”, he continued, the Logical Framework (log frame) should be employed”. Subsequently, a practical session on the use of the logical framework was part of the training. Participants were divided into groups and made to work on various components of the framework.

Consequently, trainees went home with important lessons which included: “A dream doesn’t have to be a giant dream for it to be a good dream”; “If a plan is not documented, it is not a plan”. Mr Onyebuchi reminded all present that “Social development is not just about providing help to individuals. It is rather about working with the individuals involved to provide the help they need.”

The staff training ended in high spirits. Staff members were charged with a determination to make the most out of the new CSAAE year. The training came to an end with the celebration of the birth anniversary of EAL Ekwonu Francisca Chinelo. Members wished her well and prayed for God’s blessings upon her life.
